Name:Shark [Kamishiro, Ryoga]
Name: Kamishiro, Ryouga (Nickname: Shark [Self-given] ; Benetnash [School given title name])
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Occupation: Umiirukademia (aka the Underwater Duel Academy) Third Year/ Soon to be Alumni
Duel Information: Sharks
PB and/or Description: It's literally Shark from Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL. He's a (somewhat adapted) canon. I know. I'm shocked too.
Personality: Boy is he rude. Shark is not the friendliest guy you'd know-- and it's honestly something that he's helped build up himself, especially at recent. He's the type of guy who pushes others away and gets angry and lashes out, but it's generally due to decent intentions instead of anything really selfish or malevolent. About the only person he consistently is nice to is his own sister, and even they have their fights and spats, as siblings would.

Though, while he's not friendly, he's absolutely the most loyal guy you'd ever have the pleasure of having, if you manage to be his friend irregardless. He will take the fall for you if he thinks it's in the best interests of everyone involved. He will defend you. He will try to help you if you've gotten his attention, and he will pull you up if you've fallen... he'll just do it in his own, abrasive way. This is something he's actually aware of though, which is why he's reveled the excuse to push people away. He knows how he is, and he knows he can't afford to indulge his feelings other than anger right now, if he wants to figure out what happened to his hometown: Heartland.
History: On that point, Heartland. He, and his twin sister, Rio, are from Heartland-- yes, the same Heartland that got destroyed some time back. As a student of the lesser known Umiirukademia (as in a dueling academy that is literally at the bottom of the ocean), he does not usually have the time to see his parents. So, he and Rio decided to go visit them during their next break period.

This ended up being the worst timing possible, as the Academia forces decided to attack during that time. It took Shark and Rio everything they had to get away from the army and escape the city, but it came at the price of their parents disappearing-- in a method that Shark could only describe as "being turned into cards". He doesn't understand how or why such a thing could happen, but he knows one thing's for certain: someone is going to pay for it.

However, he did still have his own obligations towards his school, and Rio would not hear of him leaving early (and really, you don't make Rio mad, either). So, he went for the next best option by signing up for every possible exchange and demonstration offer that he could, hoping that maybe something might lead to clues about what happened in Heartland (since the news was no good-- he knows first-hand that humans were involved in the attack, not just an attack by monsters.) One of his hopes is actually to be able to go to Domino, where he's heard that a few other survivors of the attack on Heartland are currently living...

Otherwise, Shark actually had a fairly normal time growing up, other than a few bumps in the road. He was once accused of cheating in duels, thanks to his generally aggressive and intimidating tactics resulting in fear, combined with his devastating dueling techniques and psychic duelist powers-- and he had those charges cleared, after months of investigation on him and arguing. But as a result, his popularity among his peers, who still believe him to be a cheater, is at an all-time low.

He also likes driving his motorcycle. He does not get a lot of opportunities to do so underwater, okay.
Abilities: Has a motorcycle license and a Riding Duel license. Has Psychic Duelist-related abilities-- but they're nowhere near as devastating as his sister's. He has some ancestry to the 12 Dimensions, by estimate, but he's basically human otherwise.
