*A few people close to Shark might know that "Shark" is just a fake name that he uses-- be it out of ego or wanting to make a name for himself separated from his family, no one's sure.
But family obligations always end up rearing their head, no matter how much one might be focused on, instead, tracking down people to murder.
Shark is not one to really go along with the social obligations required of him, but he undeniably cares deeply enough about his parents to at least make a token effort when it's pushed hard enough... enough that he's willing to at least take an hour or so of his time to do a Marriage Meeting that his parents have set up, once in a while.
This does not negate his absolutely bored expression as he waits for whatever girl was arranged to meet with him at a fairly upscale meeting room reserved for this purpose, already uncomfortable enough in the formal clothing expected of this, instead attempting to idle away the minutes by going over his current process of elimination for his own situation.*
... pretty sure the company must be situated in Domino or Heartland at this point... none of the shops in Maiami have barred me, since they're all owned under LDS as a majority... And Den City is quartered off by SOL and focuses more on the digital aspect...

I am going to hunt down and destroy everyone, minus Rio, who went to Umiirukademia at the same time as me, and nothing is going to stop me.

[An Older Story - Silent Honor ARK]
((Note: This was an older story that I found on my google docs that I didn't finish up for some reason or another. This is sorta important at least in terms of why Shark and Rio have 101/103, so I felt I should at least put it up after finishing it since I apparently never had it anywhere else.))

*It's been a bit after his duel with Yuma.
Shark is hanging out, outside of the College. His generally sour mood keeps people away, so it lets him focus and think about what's coming up.
Ryozanpaku bothered him-- not for the reasons most folks were bothered, but by their personalities. Their bloodthirsty behavior. Their methods. It reminded him too much of the people who attacked Heartland. If he wanted to win in the final duel, he'll need to focus on doing that. He couldn't let himself get too distracted by just the Ryozanpaku.
But... admittedly, he was finding it hard to not do that. He had to remind himself that they weren't the only priority, here.
He gave out a pretty obvious sighing sound, which might be enough to attract attention for anyone willing to risk it.*

Okay, now I know I need to step up and keep improving in this. That much is obvious.
But who in the world was that kid, anyway? I'd never seen those monsters before.
--
*for those who're in the Junior Leagues, at some point today, Shark dueled a small child who's been hanging around.
At first he scoffed-- and was actually pretty insulted at being put against a kid who shouldn't be there, as far as he knows.
Until he got absolutely wrecked by strange Synchros and Xyzs no one's seen before. Only thing people could pick up is that they were called "C/C".
His pride was a little sore after that.*

This might be enough for the moment.

*for those in the Junior League, Shark, after a period of silence concerning his ranking, has suddenly shot up following a rapid-fire sequence of duels with many more wins than losses, encroaching onto the top echelons.
The most notable thing though is that if people watched his duels, they'll notice he seems to almost always end his duels with very low LP.*

Ugh, fine.
I'm putting out a formal apology to LDS for having a part in ruining your test track. I should've held back.
[Private to Rio]

Now can I have my ignition key back?

*what a wonderful weekend for an anniversary.
While Shark's usually a jerk with little regard for others, today he can actually be found at the memorial that Kotori had set up for Heartland, outside of SAI, at the base of a tree.
He figured, well, if there's any time for him to take a look at it, now's the time, huh?*
